Fibonachos is an exciting card game that combines amazing Mexican cuisine with the intriguing world of math and engaging trick-taking gameplay to make something incredibly unique. Two to five players are dealt cards of three different suits, and they must play tricks with suits of the same color. The highest card wins the trick unless the trump cards are activated. This is when things get really hot: the trump cards follow the Fibonacci sequence numbers, and this math sequence could also affect the final score. The final sum of the players’ points may increase depending on whether they hit the Fibonacci numbers, which adds a very important strategic layer to the endgame.
If you don’t remember, the Fibonacci sequence is a numerical series where each number is the sum of the two preceding ones (for instance, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, ...). This concept is ingeniously woven into the game, making it a source of entertainment and a tool for learning.
