Description
Commissioned is a 2-6 player, historically-themed, cooperative style strategy board game with a simple deck-building mechanism that plays in 1 Hour. The players adopt the role of an early Apostle, and work together to strengthen their faith decks, grow the church, collect the New Testament, and overcome trials. Players each have a unique deck of cards representing a skill the team needs to achieve the scenario victory conditions. To do so, they will need to work together to overcome the same religious oppression, governmental persecution, and natural disasters faced by the earliest Christians. The 5 scenarios cover the first 150 years of the Christian church history. The game trial and faith cards include references to historical events. This allows players to explore this period of history as they play.
