A Nagant craks sharply and the bloated obscenity that used to be your medic bursts apart in a cloud of green mucous. That’s the signal to go. Shoving brick rubble aside you and the big Siberian charge, PPsH and Schmeisser firing as one. Ghouls tumble, howling and reaching for you, all splintered fingers and yellow teeth. The headshot ones stay down, but you must finish the others with axe and shovel, e-tool and boot. Finally it is over.
