Walking Dead Board Game, The

Waking up in an empty hospital after weeks in a coma, County Sheriff Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) finds himself utterly alone. The world as he knows it is gone, ravaged by a zombie epidemic!

The six-episode first season of AMC's Original Series, The Walking Dead — written, produced, and directed by three-time Academy Award-nominee Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile) and executive produced by Gale Anne Hurd (The Terminator, Aliens) — follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, portrayed by Andrew Lincoln (Love Actually, Teachers), traveling in search of a safe and secure home after a zombie apocalypse. Filling out the roster are Jon Bernthal (The Pacific, The Ghost Writer) as Shane, who worked with Rick in the police department before the zombie disaster, as well as Laurie Holden (The Shield), who plays Andrea, one of two sisters who join the survivors of the zombie plague, Steven Yeun as Glenn, an expert scavenger, and Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break), who plays Rick's wife Lori.

Based on AMC's hit zombie television series, players in The Walking Dead Board Game assume the roles of their favorite characters from the TV series battling the Walkers to survive in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world. Players begin as humans fending off the zombies - but if they succumb to the undead hordes and become a brain-eater, they can cooperate with others who have been infected and team-up against the remaining "human" characters in the game! The Walking Dead Board Game includes two scenarios: "Team Game" and "Survival Mode" - ever-dwindling resources make every decision "life or death", and as the supplies run out, the tension ramps up!
