Description
A Competitive Game of Averting Calamity
The planet Alarria is many light years from Earth. It is a paradise of unique alien wildlife, but danger looms on the long-range sensors; an asteroid dubbed Leviathan hurtles closer, doming it to certain destruction.
Three project plans quickly form: First, a powerful Laser to shatter the asteroid before it strike. Second, an energy Shield to deflect it from its course. Third, a massive wildlife Evacuation to the nearby moon.
All three projects have potential, and the Asteroid Response teams on Fortuna disagree on the best path forward. You lead one of those teams, working relentlessly to find the balance of effort that will prevent this calamity. Maybe you will be the one to figure out How to Save a World.
