The Fantastical Field Guide Mystery Game lets you assume the identity of one of the three Grace children: Jared, Mallory, or Simon. Or you may prefer to become the dangerous goblin who wants to steal Uncle Arthur Spiderwick's Fantastical Field Guide. The first stage of the game sets the children scouring the old Estate to find the precious book. Meanwhile, the goblin is waiting outside in the Goblin Camp, racking up bonus turns. Once the book is found, the chase is on. The children race to carry the Field Guide to Uncle Arthur, while the goblin—if he manages to steal the book—heads for the ogre Mulgarath. The Grace children and the goblin draw from separate card decks to be helped or delayed by Tool Cards and Battles. Since everyone can reverse direction or switch paths, it's anyone's guess where the Field Guide will end up!
