The Siege of Petersburg - in this advanced scenario, 2 or 4 experienced players build the railroads, around Petersburg, Virginia, during the fighting in the American Civil War. Normal building sites are replaced with supply sites and garrisons, occasionally under threat from military events.
The Channel Tunnel 1881 - In 1881, Sir Edward Watkin and Alexandre Lavalley were partners, conducting exploratory work on both sides of the Channel into digging a tunnel between England and France. This advanced scenario for 2 players imagines the difficulties that would have been faced by the two sides had the project continued.
