Take on the role of an aspiring art curator in Museum: Pictura! It's the roaring 20's, an age of elegance, extravagance, and artistic flair during which Museums displayed famous painting to eager crowds. As the curate in just such a Museum, you have been tasked with assembling collections of art the likes of which the world has never seen!
Museum: Pictura is a set-collection Eurogame that's easy to learn but hard to master. As well as challenging gameplay, it includes 180 individually illustrated Painting cards. Each card features a historical masterpiece with accurate information about the painting.
• Fill the galleries of your Museum with Painting cards and arrange them into Collections based on their Period or Genre. The larger your Collections, the more Prestige points they'll be worth at the end of the game.
• Trade your precious works of art with international museums, attract influential patrons, call in favors, and organize temporary exhibitions for your best collections to gain additional points. The player with the most Prestige at the end of the game wins!
Museum: Pictura brings exciting new mechanics and strategies to the table, while maintaining a strong family connection to its predecessor. With a wealth of ways to score points and plenty of player interaction, Museum: Pictura's fresh mechanics bring a fascinating twist to the original Museum game, that is sure to delight veteran curators and new players alike!
