MBT is a modular combat system for two or more players designed for combined-arms small unit actions set in 1987 Germany. It is comprehensive yet still remains quick to play. It has one of the most detailed weapon and armor modeling systems as presented in its full-color data cards and charts. The streamlined counter-based command system steps play along at a brisk pace, moving players quickly into the action.

Included in the game are the US M1 Abrams (three models), M2 and M3 Bradley, M901 ITOW, A-10 Warthog, AH-64 Apache, and Soviet T-80 (two models), T-72 (two models), T-64BV, BMP-1, 2, & 3, M-24 Hind, Su-25 Frogfoot and a number of other units including infantry and their various anti-tank weapons.
