This world abounds with legends. As one of the few remaining Swordians, you have the power to call upon the characters within those legends and wield them in battle as Swords.
You sense something is amiss when you receive orders to hunt down your fellow Swordians. Suspicious, you set off on a journey to uncover the truth.
Every Swordian is marked with the Crest of the Rose - a witch's brand. This, you learn, is what has driven them to turn on one another; the brand's dark influence has stripped them of their will, turning them into mindless servants.
Having located the secret headquarters of the ones behind this wicked plot, you and Maria set off for Mount Granphatos, where legends claim a dragon slumbers. You are soon assailed by the adherents of the dragon, who worship the mountain as a holy place. Unbeknownst to you, a small shadow looks on as you fight...
