Sail the Ancient Aegean!
The high seas brim with endless possibilities. You must set sail from your home's shores, to explore the varied islands of the Aegean Sea. Each of the 220 islands is unique, and you'll need to cleverly scheme how to utilize their special abilities to succeed.
You will take charge of one of five ancient peoples: Athens, Crete, Ephesus, Rhodes, or Sparta. Each people has a unique 44-card deck and home island with special customs, resulting in varied strengths, weaknesses, and specializations to discover over many plays.
Each can card represent many different things, depending on how it is tucked: Ships, Temples, Populace, Goods, and even the Islands themselves! You must wisely manage how you use them, for cards are a limited resource. Once your deck runs out, the game is near its end.
Your ultimate goal is to leverage your control of the seas and islands to bring prosperity to your home. With the right choices and strategies, you'll have the greatest wealth of goods when all is said and done!
