21Moon is a new board game designed in Sweden based on the excellent 18XX train game mechanics. However, instead of taking place in the past, 21Moon is space game where players run corporations that explore and mine critical minerals on the Moon during the year 2117. 18XX games are normally designed to "simulate" the development of railroad lines. 21Moon simulates a prediction of colonization and mining operations on the Moon in less than 100 years from now. This futuristic theme provides more flexibility regarding the game's graphics design which breaks the norm of old school 18XX games in a respectful way.
